I studied graphic design and photography at American University in Washington DC and illustration at Parson’s School of Design in NYC. I was involved in the DC punk scene, took a lot of photos and co-edited the book Banned in DC w/ Cynthia Connolly.
I returned to school and studied sculpture/installation/sitework and critical theory at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
I moved to Seattle and became a member of Soil Artists Cooperative, then a co-owner of Project 416 space and studios, then a member and curator with the artists group The Fuzzy Engine. I co-founded the arts newsletter The Redheaded Stepchild and curated shows and events. Back in Pittsburgh, I worked at the Andy Warhol Museum as an artist-educator and community programs coordinator, then shifted focus to community work for a small nonprofit organization.
Now I do art, photography and work on my old house.
